More than 560 tons eggs have been exported from Semnan to Iraq over the past 10 months, Director General of Semnan province Veterinary Mohammad Saeedi said on Wednesday.
He made the remarks in a meeting of coordination council for upgrading the quality of export eggs.
Saeedi called for food security and healthcare from farm to table, saying that necessary measures should be taken to enhance standard of the products and healthcare for the livestock.
More than 10,000 tons eggs are produced in Semnan province annually
